ACK! I thought I had subscribed to your blog, but I guess it didn't work b/c I just realized it must not have worked b/c here are all these posts and I missed them!! (Breathe...breathe...breathe!) I'm ok now. I read them. But I am writing a comment to ask you to explain. I don't know the diff between vegetarian and vegan. I could look it up, but I'm lazy. And it seems everyone is defining these things differently. So what does it mean to you? Thanks for explaining!
Aright - here it is
- Omnivore - eats meat and vegetables and whatever
- Vegetarian - does not eat meat - fish, chicken, pork, beef, rabbit, venison, duck, etc.
- Strict Vegetarian - does not eat any animal products at all - dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, etc.
- Vegan - Avoids all animal products in everything - no leather, wool, fur, stuff tested on animals, etc.
Personally I do have animal products in clothing, but I'm just going to get rid of them as they wear out and replace them with cruelty-free products.
:) Hope that answers your question. There's also fruitarians, and raw foodists, but that's not me. :)
