Sunday - the flea market
Sunday Dima picked us up with the Bradshaws and took us to the flea market. It was cool with lots of stands with matroishka dolls, tapestries, scarves, hats and Russian antiques. Lots of booths had old cameras and a few have watches. Every time we saw one of those Andrei freaked out because he wanted one, and he wouldn’t listen when we told him he had a watch at home (we bought him one for his birthday). We bought some gifts and a couple of movies for Andrei. Oh, and a model taxi car which he is in love with and won’t let out of his sight.
We didn’t stay too long because it was super cold out - probably about 10F and then then it was humid and windy on top of that. So everyone was freezing and the boys were both getting over-stimulated. Which is a give-in since Andrei is pretty much over stimulated about 2 minutes after waking up.
So we left there and Dima took us to a bigger grocery store where we didn’t have to ask for everything and I bought lots of fruit, some deli salads, hot dogs, bread, snacks, yougurt, and ice cream of course. And salt and paprika. And a frying pan.
The rest of the day was uneventful. We tried to watch one of his movies but he wasn’t interested, so he had a bath and then to bed.
